The EDS2125 is a complete circuit breaker from Eaton. The breaker is factory sealed, completely blocking out the possibility of field installation for internal components. The EDS2125 has terminals on the load side. The tripping unit for the circuit breaker is non-interchangeable. The breaker has 2 poles and it is specifically designed to be used in electronic circuits that are powered from a single-phase power source. The EDS2125 has a maximum voltage of 240 Volts AC or 125 Volts DC. The circuit breaker is only designed to protect circuits that have an amperage rating not exceeding 125 Amps.
The Eaton EDS2125, by being factory-sealed, can be used for reverse feed use. The circuit breaker has a molded case, and it belongs to Series C of the molded case circuit breakers from the Eaton Corporation. The EDS2125 has a fixed magnetic fixed thermal trip type which accommodates long-time and instantaneous functions. The circuit breaker is of the EDS type and it has an F frame size. Under the IEC 157-1 interrupting capacity standards, the EDS2125, as with other EDS type circuit breakers, has 42 kAIC at either 220 or 240 Volts AC and 10 kAIC at 125 Volts DC. The EDS2125 has a height of 2.75 inches, a width of 2.75 inches, and a length of 3.38 inches. With such measurements, the EDS2125 does not occupy a large space on the installation panel. The circuit breaker has an operating frequency rating of between 50 and 60 Hertz. Note that the UL 489 DC interrupt capacity ratings for the EDS2125 apply to substantially non-inductive circuits.
