The EDH2150 is a thermal-magnetic circuit breaker manufactured by Eaton Cutler-Hammer. The Cutler-Hammer EDH2150 circuit breaker is part of Series C of the EDH Type of molded case circuit breakers. The Cutler-Hammer EDH2150 circuit breaker features 2 poles, 150 Amps of current at 50/60 Hertz, 240 Volts AC voltage, a fixed magnetic trip type, 125 Volts DC voltage, 100 kAIC at 240 Volts AC, and suitability for reverse feed applications. The Cutler-Hammer EDH2150 circuit breaker is contained in a Frame F Enclosure Type. For field mounting purposes, a shunt trip is recommended for use with the Cutler-Hammer EDH2150 circuit breaker or it could be pre-installed on the circuit breaker at the factory. The Cutler-Hammer EDH2150 circuit breaker feature a test panel, a design for testing the ground fault system, an indication that the relay has tripped the circuit breaker, and the resetting of the relay after tripping. The Cutler-Hammer EDH2150 circuit breaker is configured with an indicating ammeter which connects to the sensor terminals via a contact pushbutton for indicating any ground fault current that flows via the sensor.
When a GFR ground fault protection system is correctly mounted on the Cutler-Hammer EDH2150 circuit breaker, the protection system will detect phase-to-ground fault currents. In the event of an excessive fault current that exceeds the pre-selected pickup current and time delay settings, the GFR relay initiates a trip action of the circuit breaker that opens the faulted circuit and corrects the error. A solenoid module is provided on the Cutler-Hammer EDH2150 circuit breaker to protect the circuit breaker against undervoltage. The Cutler-Hammer EDH2150 circuit breaker is applicable in applications that require a compact, high-capacity circuit breaking abilities. The Cutler-Hammer EDH2150 circuit breaker consists a 250 Volts DC rating for ungrounded systems. The Cutler-Hammer EDH2150 circuit breaker is designed to meet switching requirements and circuit protection for various DC end-user demands. The Cutler-Hammer EDH2150 circuit breaker is applicable in solar systems, UPS battery supply circuits, and electric vehicle charging systems.
