The Eaton Cutler-Hammer ED3200 circuit breaker is a high-quality addition to the Eaton Corporation’s extensive catalog of reliable circuit-breaker products. The ED3200 is a mold-case type of circuit breaker. It belongs to the Eaton Series C family of breakers, which has a wide range of circuit-breakers for different functions such as electronic trip breakers, mold circuit protectors, mold break switches, as well as thermal magnetic breakers. The ED3200 is made specifically for heavy-duty industrial applications such as mining. As a result, the ED3200 is highly compatible with different types of heavy machinery and OEMs. The ED3200 breaker is also highly suitable for devices with 600 Volts AC and 250 Volts DC rated systems.
The ED3200 circuit breaker comes with some outstanding specifications. It has a 3-pole set up to accommodate the intended heavy machinery operations. The current rating of the ED3200 is 200 Amps. The UL standard rating of the ED3200 is 489. The maximum voltage ratings of the ED3200 in AC and DC voltage are 240 Volts AC and 125 Volts DC, respectively. The ED3200 also comes with optional features, including a shunt trip, an auxiliary switch, and an under voltage release. The ED3200 has a fixed thermal-magnetic trip unit. The kAIC ratings of the ED3200 are 65 kAIC and 10 kAIC at 240 Volts AC and 125 Volts DC, respectively. The CSA standard of the ED3200 is 22.2 CSA, and it is UL approved. The dimensions of the ED3200 breaker stand at 4.9 x 5 x 7.7 inches.
