The ED2200 is an analog lab unit manufactured by Eaton Cutler-Hammer. This analog lab unit has a built-in AF generator and frequency counter. The ED2200 is powered by the dual power supply which is rated at 5/6 Volts and 9/12/15 Volts. It is fitted with a 2-digit decade capacitor and programmable resistors. The DC current output is 0.7 Amps for the first type of power supply and 0.4 Amps for the second power supply. Alternating current output ranges are 30 Volts AC, CT (15 Volts) 100 mA. The ED2200 has 2 different ranges with an audio generator of 100 Hertz to 10 Hertz which can be optimized for a large range of audio input/output. The programmable resistors of this device are rated at 10-kilo-ohms to 150-kilo-ohms and at 100-kilo ohms to 1.6 mega ohms. The device is equipped with 3 different types of control switch: sliding, toggling, and pushing.
The input voltage of the ED2200 is 220 Volts AC at 60 Hertz. The current meter designed with the device is rated at 0 to 10 milliamperes or 100 milliamperes. Variable resistors also have 2 ranges with maximum ratings of 1-kilo-ohm and 100-kilo-ohms. The physical dimensions of the ED2200 lab unit are a width of 350 millimeters by a height of 85 millimeters by a depth of 355 millimeters with a weight of 4.1 kilograms. In order to protect the analog lab unit, the DC overload alarm rings when excessive direct current flows through the device and the indicator notifies the status of DC flow through the device. External accessories are available with the ED2200 such as a beard board socket strip (630 holes), a bus strip (100 holes), a 5-color jump wire set, an AC power cord, and an operation manual for ease of use.
