The Eaton Cutler-Hammer ED2175 Series C Molded Case Circuit Breaker is an F-Frame solid-state circuit breaker with non-interchangeable trip unit in the Eaton Cutler-Hammer Series “C” family of efficient and high performance molded case circuit breakers which provide overload protection for breaker like all F-Frame devices is used in reverse feed wiring, and it is HACR rated for Heating, Refrigerating, and Air-conditioning applications. The ED2175 is designed for applications with 277 Volts AC at 50 to 60 Hertz and a 125 Volt operating voltage, and it has 175 Ampere current rating. The ED2175 has an interrupt rating of 65 KAIC at 240 Volt, and this device has a 2-pole design which is used for single-phase applications. The ED2175 has a load end only terminal, which provides flexibility in installation, and like all series C circuit breakers, it is guaranteed with years of use without maintenance. It consists of 3 functional internal components enclosed in a molded casing, and it has a circuit breaker handle PUSH TO TRIP button provide users with manual means of operating it. The ED2175 has an internal trip element which trips an operating mechanism in case of overload, using the bimetal thermal magnetic breaker, and it operating mechanism is a trip free MAKE/BREAK design which provides means of closing and opening the breaker contacts. The ED2175 has 60 degree Celsius ambient operating temperature, with a 1.4 Kilogram (3.0 pounds) net weight and with a total mounting volume of 162.4 x 69.9 x 85.7 millimeters (6.0 x 2.75 x 3.38 inches).
