The Eaton Cutler-Hammer ED2100 EHD Series Circuit Breaker is an F-Frame circuit breaker with a non-interchangeable thermal-magnetic trip unit, which is designed to protect conductors and connected electrical devices from short-circuiting and current overload. The ED2100 is a double pole circuit breaker designed for low voltage use, with a non-adjustable trip unit which is so designed to prevent errors resulting from human adjustments, and it is built to guarantee multiple years long operation without maintenance. It is designed with load end terminals, which confer flexibility during installation, and it is easily operated using a circuit breaker handle and TRIP buttons. The ED2100 has a 100 Ampere current rating, with a 65 Kilo-Ampere Interrupting Capacity (KAIC), and it is built for low voltage applications with a maximum voltage rating of 240 Volts AC or 125 Volts DC. This circuit breaker has a trip-free MAKE-type/BREAK-type operating mechanism, which provides users with means of opening and closing the breaker contacts, and it also has a trip element which provides the trip of the operating mechanism in the event of a prolonged overload or short-circuits current using thermal magnetic breakers which provides protection for conductors. The ED2100 also has an integral Arc Extinguisher which provides dives the arc between breaker contacts, and it is operated manually using a handle and a TRIP button. It is designed for reverse-feed wiring, and it is HACR (Heating, Air-conditioning, and Refrigerating) rated. The ED2100 weighs approximately 1.4 Kilogram (3 pounds), with a total dimension of 88.9 x 132.1 x 190.5 millimeters (3.5 x 5.2 x 7.5 inches), and it is CSA, EIC and UL certified.
