The Eaton S811V85N3S Open Soft Starter operates with 85 Amps, a 200-600V Operating Voltage, and a 47-63 Hz Operating Frequency. It has a 290 mm Frame Size and Standard Features.
The Eaton S811V85N3S soft starter is an S811 soft starter that features a maximum current capacity of 850 Amps and it comes with a 290 millimeters frame. The S811V85N3S soft starter features an insulating voltage (Ui) of 660 Volts AC. The ramp time range is rated as 0.5 to 180 seconds while the unit has a vibration resistance of 3 G and the resistance to shock is rated as 15 G. The rated operating voltage is 200 to 600 Volts AC and the operating frequency is rated as 47 to 63 Hertz. The overload setting for the S811V85N3S soft starter is 30 to 100% and the trip classification is 5, 10, 20, or 30. The unit features an operating ambient temperature range of -30 to 50 degrees Celsius. If the soft starter is intended for operation at temperatures greater than 50 degrees Celsius, consult the manufacturer for further advice. The S811V85N3S soft starter protective features can be easily configured, enabled, or deactivated through the use of an interface or the communication network. Note that excessive current and torque at up to the locked rotor levels could result in a jam. The jam easily results in stress and damage to the motor and the load mechanical system. In case of a phase loss, this could also result in a significant increase in the current that is drawn in the remaining phases. Disturbances in the electrical power can also result in high voltage conditions. The high voltage conditions will result in the failure of the electrical equipment. In order to avoid high voltage, the S811V85N3S soft starter features a high-voltage protection feature that will trip if the average RMS voltage value is greater than the preset value.
