The Eaton S801T30P3S Non-combination Open Soft Starter operates with 304 Amps and a 47-63 Hz Operating Frequency. It has 3 Poles and a Pump Control Option.
The Eaton Cutler-Hammer S801T30P3S soft starter is a reduced voltage soft starter for the Eaton S801 series of compact reduced voltage soft starters that are designed to control 3-phase motors. The S801 soft starters are compact, easy to install, designed to fit into existing soft starter positions, and easy to program. They have built-in overload protection that provides the motor that they control with additional protection. The S801T30P3S soft starter has a 3-pole current rating of 304 Amps and a 200 to 600 Volts AC voltage range at 47 to 63 Hertz line input frequency. Its 660 Volts AC insulation rating and its ramp time can be adjusted from 0.5 to 180 seconds.
The S801T30P3S soft starter has a bypass mechanical lifespan of 10 minutes, and a programmable overload setting of 30% to 100% of the rated current. This soft starter has standard features like over-temperature protection, the ramp start, the soft stop, the shorted SCR detection, and the current limit start for smooth motor operation. It also has user-selectable protective features like stall protection, jam protection, phase loss protection, phase reversal protection, and the kick start function for additional motor safety. The S801T30P3S soft starter comes with a 24 Volts DC power control rating with a 10 Amps inrush current rating that helps to enhance operational safety and a relay contact for additional control. The S801T30P3S soft starter comes with an easy to use control interface module for easy field setup and reduced commissioning time. It has a -30 to 50 degrees Celsius operating temperature range, and a 5 to 95% non-condensing operating relative humidity range. The S801T30P3S soft starter weighs approximately 48 pounds (lug included), and it has total shipping dimensions of 7.65 x 12.71 x 6.69 inches.
