The 2711-B6C5 is a PanelView 600 which belongs to the Bulletin 2711 PanelView Standard Operator Terminal product family. This product is ideal for use in small applications that requires interfacing to a machine or processes. It provides the option of installing near the machine or remotely to a central location. The compact Human Machine Interface (HMI) device is equipped with a 5- inch display with Color active matrix TFT. The screen’s resolution is 320 x 234 with display area of 15 x 86 mm (4.54 x 3.4 in.). The screen has a modular backlight with a lifespan of 50,000 hr 1/2 life at 25 °C (77 °F) with appropriate replacement part number of 2711-NL5. The 2711-B6C5 rated power supply input range is 85-264V AC, with a frequency of 47-63 Hz. The terminal has Two RS232 ports. The primary RS232 supports DH485 protocol in peer to peer topology. Multi-node communication can be implemented with the use of 1747-UIC. The secondary RS232 printer port for printing alarm list and messages. Process interaction can be made through the terminal’s Keypad and Touch operation. Ten (10) Function keys (F1 to F10) are assignable to specific runtime objects and functions while touch operation allows direct interaction with the operator terminal. The RS232 printer port can be connected to an alarm printer through the communication cable 2711-NC13. The terminal’s built-in memory are composed of a Random Access Memory (RAM) and a non-volatile memory. The RAM amounts to 170KB and 240KB non-volatile memory. Optionally, the terminal’s memory can be expanded with the use of an ATA memory card with memory ranging from 2MB to 32 flash memory. Operator terminal accessories include antiglare overlays, function key legend inserts, backlight replacements, Real-time clock modules, mounting hardware, Power supply terminal block and interface modules, communication cables and upload / download cables. HMI applications are made using the PanelBuilder32 software. The same software is used to download the application to the terminal. The 2711-B6C5 hosts the application and initiated runtime mode for actual operator and machine or process interaction.
