About 2711-K5A15L1

The 2711-K5A15L1 is a PanelView 550 which belongs to the Bulletin 2711 PanelView Standard Operator Terminal product family. The terminal is a Human Machine Interface (HMI) hardware to enable real-time process visualization and control. The terminal can run a custom designed application that fits the process design and control requirements. Display operator system dialogs, operation guides, control and monitoring elements can be made as well as create an accurate graphic mimic display of the process is within the terminal’s capability. The operator terminal has a 5.5-inch visualization area with a resolution of 128 x 64. It is ideal for use in small processes that has lesser equipment and devices to display. The user can interact to the process with the use of an embedded keypad with Ten (10) function keys. These keypads can be configured with global or local assignments to maximize use. The keypad is made of stainless-steel with expected operation lifespan of 1 million presses. It can be used to trigger control of devices, initiate sequence, acknowledge alarms, system-in, acknowledge messages and other important operator functions. Built-in ControlNet communication enables communication to ControlNet capable devices. It can also be used with protocol converters and other 3rd party devices. A secondary RS232 port dedicated for printing alarm list and messages is installed with the terminal. Create a physical copy of alarms by printing the active alarm list and messages by triggering an alarm printing action. The operator terminal sends print queues to an alarm printer through this RS232 printer port. PanelView terminal with part numbers ending in “L1” refers to the device being powered by an external DC supply. The rated input power supply range of the operator terminal is 18…32V DC (24V DC nom). Additionally, The terminal’s screen has Monochrome LCD blue mode display with a backlight lifespan of 100,000 hr. Configure the application using the PanelBuilder32 software.
