About 2711-T10G20L1

The 2711-T10G20L1 is an industrial electronic hardware made by Allen-Bradley / Rockwell Automation for Human Machine Interface (HMI) applications. The HMI hardware is compliant with multiple standards such as Emissions (Class A: Industrial) EN50081-2:1993, Immunity (Industrial) EN61000-6-2:1999, Immunity (Industrial) EN50082-2:1995, Programmable Controllers Equipment Requirements and Tests) EN61131 2:1995, Low Voltage Directive (Safety Sections of EN61131-2), among others. Configuration parameters are set from the terminal or from the PanelBuilder32 software. Downloaded application have priority over terminal settings. Enabled this feature in the Terminal Setup dialog of the PanelBuilder32 software. The process screen is a 10-inch grayscale screen installed with a backlight capable 50,000 hr 1/2 life at 25 °C (77 °F) operation. The screen is touch sensitive allowing the operator to initiate controls and other important HMI functions to the process. The touchscreen specifications are includes a membrane made of 384 cells with capability of up to 1 million presses. The Ethernet communication port is compatible with ethernet networks with speed of10/100 mbps. Ethernet is an industry approved protocol, commonly used in enterprise networks. IT is a feature easy to configure parameters and provides flexible expansion options. The second RS-232 Printer Port can be used to communicate to an alarm printer and send print queues. A DC power supply is used to power the electronic circuitry of the HMI hardware. It is powered with a supply of 18-32VDC. The input power source should be protected by a fuse or circuit breaker rated no more than 15 amps. Incoming power to the PanelView is ideally rerouted by a separate terminal block coupled with a disconnect option for isolation. If power and communication lines must cross, wires must cross at right angles. Communication lines can be installed in the same conduit as low-level dc I/O lines (less than 10 Volts).
