The Cutler-Hammer/Eaton HVX020A2-2A1B1 is part of the HVAC drive family of adjustable frequency drives. The drive has a voltage rating of 230 Volts (208 to 240 Volts), a three-phase (EMC classification H capable) input option, and an input frequency of 50 to 60 Hertz (with a variation of 45 to 66 Hertz). In addition, the HVX9000 series drive has output amperage of 61 Amps and rated power of 20 Horsepower. Features of this model include an alphanumeric keypad, standard software, standard boards and internal brake chopper circuit option. Programming on this drive is simplified and keypad can be used to display simultaneously monitored parameters (up to 3 parameters). Besides that, the HVX020A2-2A1B1 drive has many protective feats such as undervoltage protection, overcurrent protection, motor stall protection, overload/underload protection and other.
The drives from Eaton HVX9000 series are highly reliable and they provide flexible configurations to meet every user demand. These drives are much lighter (weighs up to 70% less) than other similar drives from different manufacturers and it doesn’t take much time or effort to install them. The drive is enclosed in a NEMA Type 12 enclosure and can be mounted side-by-side or vertically stacked. The ambient operating temperature of the HVX020A2-2A1B1 drive is a minimum of -10 degrees Celsius (14 degrees Fahrenheit) and maximum of 40 degrees Celsius (104 degrees Fahrenheit). The drive can be stored at much lower and considerably higher temperatures from -40 degrees Celsius (-40 degrees Fahrenheit) to 70 degrees Celsius (158 degrees Fahrenheit). Relative humidity for the drive to operate is between 0 and 95% with non-condensing / non-corrosive conditions. In regard to resistance to shock and vibration, the drive fulfills the requirements according to EN 50178 and EN 60068. Every drive from this product series comes with EMI/RFI filters. The drive’s approximate dimensions include a height of 1016 millimeters (40 inches), a width of 531.4 millimeters (20.92 inches), and a depth of 425.7 millimeters (16.76 inches).
