Cutler Hammer offers the most reliable adjustable frequency drives on the market today. One of them is the HVX010A1-2A1B1. The drive can produce 10 HP with a voltage rating of 230 Volys. It requires a 3-phase, EMC H input for optimal results. It comes with standard software and an alphanumeric keypad that’s mounted in a NEMA Type 1 enclosure. It has standard boards with an internal brake chopper circuit. The HVX010A1-2A1B1 has a height of 16.5 inches, a width of 5.6 inches, and a depth of 8.4 inches. Its weight is 17.9 pounds. It comes with the standard enclosure that comes complete with network, power, and control options. The enclosure complies with UL and CUL standards and certifications. It is important to conduct static checking to determine the integrity of the power-carrying parts of the HVX010A1-2A1B1. The static checks will ensure that the capacitors, IGBTs, and diodes were not damaged during the installation of the drive. Failure to do the test can damage the drive when powered.
When a fault occurs, the HVX010A1-2A1B1 will stop operating. The fault code and short description of the error are displayed on the keypad. A red LED will also blink to alert the operator.
