The D100CRA40A is a programmable logic controller manufactured by the former Cutler-Hammer and it belongs to the D100 Series of Micro PLC. A programmable logic controller consists basically of an industrial digital computer that has been ruggedized and adapted for the control of a wide range of industrial applications. The Cutler-Hammer D100CRA40A programmable logic controller operates with a power source of 115 Volts AC, an input of 115 Volts AC and a Relay output. It is a four I/O controller with manual and high-speed counter and it also features an expandable analog input. The Cutler-Hammer D100CRA40A programmable logic controller has a voltage range of 100 to 240 Volts AC or 24 Volts DC; a maximum load current of 2A (resistive), 1A (inductive) and 4A/4 points common. It has a maximum inrush current of 6A/100 milliseconds, an ON delay of 15 milliseconds (maximum) and an OFF delay of 10 milliseconds (maximum).
The minimum load current of the Cutler-Hammer D100CRA40A programmable logic controller is 20 mA, 12 Volts DC and it is able to withstand a voltage of 1500 Volts AC per 1 minute. This controller features 24 inputs and 16 outputs and a built-in PROM writer feature. The Cutler-Hammer D100CRA40A programmable logic controller can be combined with an expander unit, in order to create systems that fulfill any industrial requirement; and with a programmer. Once the controller has been connected to the programmer, by the means of it, the controller can be programmed, edited, monitored and operated. The capacity of the Cutler-Hammer D100CRA40A programmable logic controller can be expanded to a total of 120 I/O.
